A very rare representation of a Japanese nobleman in a kimono. The statuette is made of porcelain, probably cast, decorated with Imari-style enamels. Japan, Arita kiln, late 17th or early 18th century. Very good condition, beautifully fired. A small chip at the end of each shoulder piece, visible in photos. Height: 23 cm
