English Inlaid Box Late 18th Century
Pretty little late 18th century box, English made and Adam style. Against a background of light veneer on pine, the shell-shaped marquetry, made of tinted and ironed wood, is completely emblematic of the decorations practiced at the end of the century. The varnish is a little tarnished in places, but overall is in good condition.
