Great Spices Box, Wood & Iron, Folk Art 19th Or Before, Stars

Very pretty wooden box with sliding lid. The interior reveals two compartments, probably used to store spices, possibly salt and sugar. On the lid two wooden rings carved in the mass to hang the box. Both sides are decorated with a marquetry star and engraved with geometric shapes. Stylized and openworked base. The studded iron reinforcements were probably added to reinforce broken parts. Beautiful antique item, genuine, made in a good quality.
Condition: restored (Probably) by the iron parts, a crack is visible on part of basement. Thank you in advance for taking a good look at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything!
Probably Oriental working, but not certain, dating from the 19th century, or earlier.. Dimensions: 15cm x 7.5cm x 11cm H
