High-quality Dance Card, Complete, Round-relief Sculpture, Dieppe Working 19th Century

Here is a superb dance card, a beautiful piece of craftsmanship from Dieppe. The core is made of cardboard covered with purple silk moiré, with solid sculpted panels on each side. The front is beautifully sculpted in the round with various blooming flowers—a rose in the center—and a frame featuring several intricate designs. The spine, made of the same material, is flat. Removing the bone pencil and its graphite lead opens the notebook, which contains several blank sheets with gold-edged pages. The interior is lined with purple silk, a very welcome touch.
Excellent condition, no break or flaw; to be nitpicky, I did notice a bit of wear on the moiré and the silk, which is clearly shown in my detailed photos. Please look at them carefully—I’m not hiding anything!
French craftsmanship, most likely from Dieppe, dating from the second half of the 19th century, the Napoleon III period.
Dimensions: 10 cm x 7 cm x 1 cm.
