Wedding platter made of copper, engraved with five friezes, formerly tin-plated, richly decorated.
Originating from Turkestan, Central Asia,
Mid-19th century.
A delicate decoration featuring a frieze of stylized flowers surrounded by medahils (arrowheads) forming a sun, with three reclining deer depicted in the center.
A delicate S-shaped frieze encircles the entire piece.
In cartouches, flowers resembling trees of life.
The patina is superb both inside and outside this tray with high rims.
The object is in very good condition.
