Archaic style bronze vase from the Meiji period, late 19th century,
Elegant bronze vase inspired by typical forms and ancient Chinese decoration with archaic spear-shaped motifs and animal head decoration from Chinese mythology.
The motifs found on this type of vase are found on ritual containers popular in China during the Shang and Zhou periods.
In very good condition.
