The original around 1580 - 1590 preserved at the Louvre Museum: Temperance Basin (associated with the OA 691 ewer) 1580 / 1590 (4th quarter of the 16th century = last quarter of the 16th century) Briot, François Place of creation: Montbéliard (Franche-Comté = Franche Comté->Doubs) Reference OA 690 Department of Objects of Art from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Modern Times 19th century copy in silver-plated and lined copper, in good condition, note wear on the silvering (re-silvering on request).
