19th-century Signed Biscuit-glazed Nightlight Made Of Gilded Bronze And Marble

19th-century nightlight (Louis XVI style and Napoleon III period), executed with great finesse.
​This lamp features a figure made of white bisque porcelain, depicting a young man/street vendor holding a small lantern. The rendering of the drapery, the face, and the details is exceptionally delicate. An incised mark is present at the base (double loop / interlaced love knots, characteristic of the fine porcelain manufactories of Paris or Sèvres).
​Brass and gilded bronze structure: A finely chiseled frame decorated with foliage motifs, volutes, and garlands of leaves. The top takes the form of a dome richly adorned with pendants, pearls, and flowers made of cut crystal or glass (with a few missing pieces).
​Rectangular base in veined gray-blue marble, encircled by a frieze of bronze pearls and resting on four gilded bronze spindle-shaped feet.

Recently electrified and in good working condition.
