Yastiks are welcome mats found mainly in Anatolia at the entrance of houses.
These small carpets are more or less rich in decoration.
Our model is Yahyali type. Our model has a red medallion, probably ending in rams horns at both ends, which is called kotchak in Asia Minor and Central Asia.
Large and beautiful stylized and colorful flowers adorn the whole as well as stars of Medes.
The border decorated with stylized carnations is the symbol of carpet weavers found particularly in the Oushak region.
A wonderful little piece of decor, a beautiful artifact from the 1950s.
