The Blossom #84 coffee spoon is one of the most delicate and labour-intensive pieces in the service — each magnolia blossom at the top of the handle individually hand-cut, hand-chased and hand-assembled by the Silberschmiede's silversmiths. The Blossom #84 flatware pattern is the most exclusive in the entire Jensen production, requiring the greatest number of manufacturing hours per piece — making it the most precious and sought-after Jensen table silver.

Upon his death in 1935, the New York Herald Tribune saluted Georg Jensen as "the greatest silversmith of the last 300 years." His works are held in the collections of the Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen and MoMA in New York.
