Nineteenth Marquetry Weekly
Semainier in marquetry of Rosewood, amaranth and lemon tree decorated with small flowers. White marble top. It opens with 7 drawers (oak interior) inlaid with panels decorated with small stars, and framed with chiseled and gilded bronze moldings. The keyholes, in the Louis XVI style, are in bronze, as are the moldings and falls that adorn the entire piece of furniture.
NAPOLEON III period, mid-19th century.
French polish finish. Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, removal, cleaning and refitting of the bronzes. Locks and keys in working order.
