Elegant Nantes secretary desk from Property in solid cherry wood with two mitred framed doors in the upper part, each with a recessed panel with vertical wire. These doors are closed with an original key and lock with overflowing brass net entrances. The interior is equipped with an adjustable shelf on a rack. This piece of furniture has a beautiful flap with a mitred frame embellished with the same moldings as the top pores. In the center is a horizontal grain wood panel. This flap closes with a key and an original lock with brass entry. Inside we discover a space called tabernacle in solid cherry wood, equipped with a large niche and drawers pulled by brass bowl buttons. A central drawer is equipped with an original key and lock in working order. On each side, two columns recall the Empire style of this secretary. The seat, meanwhile, is equipped with a magnificent leather recently applied in olive green color decorated with golden vignette and a central empire motif. In the lower part of this piece of furniture, three drawers of the same height open with a key in working order and an original lock with an entrance with brass overflow net. A fourth drawer is concealed in the plinth. On the sides, two magnificent empire columns are embellished at the top with a large finely chiseled bronze ring and at the bottom with a bronze collar. These columns rest on a rounded part ending in a foot turned in the end of the lamp. Elegant and sober, this secretary has many assets.
