Secretary Empire Return From Egypt
Empire period secretary, the flap reveals a layout of 6 small drawers topped with 3 alcoves separated by pilasters, the flap is covered in leather decorated with small irons. Dark gray marble top, 1 drawer in the belt. In the lower part with two doors, also veneered with mahogany on their internal faces, an interior layout of two drawers. Front in beautiful flamed mahogany, bronze decoration in the "Return from Egypt" style, sheathed pilasters topped with a bust of an Egyptian, finished with bronze feet, "claw" feet in carved wood at the front of the furniture. Good original condition, varnish and leather restored in the 80s.
