Pair Of Angels In Carved Wood Varnish XVIIth (h 54 Cm)
This pair of 17th century angels, formerly polychrome, is in varnished carved wood.
Worked with finesse, they each have their gestures, one with the hands joined, the other with the left hand on the heart.
Dressed in a draped tunic that bares the torso, their anatomy is highlighted.
These angels are still exceptionally winged in a very decorative way with relief.
These wings give them a lightness and a flight that the steel base reinforces. In very good condition, old restorations.
One wing is missing a tiny end.
