This Portrait of a young woman in a bathrobe, work of the painter JC Roca Sans, was produced in 1977 in his studio in Monells (Emporda region, Catalonia).
The model is one of the painters of the Barcelona circle of friends of the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes.
During their studies and painting stays in the open air, they painted each other. The execution of the canvas combines realism and synthetism in what will be the artist's later style which begins to materialize in 1977.
This painting is one of those from the first period which have recently been cataloged.
This oil on canvas is in very good condition, signed lower right.
