Brass Offering Dish

Very beautiful model of an offering dish or quest dish known as "Nuremberg" in embossed and epically engraved brass from the 17th century. Large size with a very pronounced relief navel in the center, surrounded by a frieze of Germanic Gothic inscriptions. Wing decorated with friezes of flowers and leaves. Border rolled on an iron rod, some visible wear (indicated by an arrow in the detail photos). A small hole on the wing for hanging.
