Subject In Bronze,
This subject in high relief represents three figures, behind them is an enclosure where pigs are locked up, one of them holds a piglet by the hind legs while the other two are about to clap their hands to seal an agreement, on the right a dog is lying down seeming to wait for his master. The composition is captioned on the base: "I bet again a pot". This very funny bronze plaque is a work from the first half of the 19th century. Dimensions: long 29 cm, high 18 cm.
