An artist who regularly exhibited at the Salon from 1883 to 1905, notably with statuettes in various materials as well as objects, vases, and bowls made of pewter, silver, and metal, often in the Art Nouveau style. Notable works in bronze include *Dancing Scottish Sailor* and *Young Violinist*...and our bagpiper.
Below the stamp: “bronze guaranteed, fineness LV registered.”
and a number on the back of the base.
Good condition, very slight deformation on the base—see photo. Beautiful original patina.
