This Beauvaisis sandstone pot is embellished with a frieze in high relief and applied representing the toilet of Venus accompanied by the three Graces, the latter are the daughters of Venus and Bacchus. At the base and under the neck runs a frieze of leaves and roses, the pewter stopper is screwed onto the neck. 19th century period. Height 22cm.
