Anne Rosendahl Weitjens, born in Amsterdam in 1913, was a Dutch ceramic artist also active in the creation of wall tapestries around the 1950s. She then joined the studio of ceramist Jan Oosterman, with whom she shared a close artistic collaboration from the 1950s until their marriage in 1956. Together, they developed a joint ceramic production, with Anne Weitjens specializing in glaze research. In the 1970s and 1980s, the couple settled and worked in Rousset-les-Vignes, in the Drôme.
