Annual limited edition, complete set of twelve numbered and signed plates produced by Rosenthal Studio-Linie after designs by the Danish artist Björn Wiinblad. Each plate illustrates a traditional German Christmas carol in the artist's characteristic figurative language: stylized characters, animated nocturnal landscapes, fantastical architecture, vivid colours on a dark ground with gold highlights. The series represents a mature expression of Wiinblad's three-decade collaboration with Rosenthal within the Studio-Linie.
