Pair Of Louis XV Style Armchairs.

These Louis XV style flat-backed armchairs are made of walnut, entirely pegged, with richly molded details. The backs are shaped, and the armrests, fitted with cuffs, are supported by whiplash brackets. The shaped seat rail rests on four cabriole legs. These legs are carved with blooming flowers on the front rails and on each foot cap. While the fabric, still fairly clean, should be replaced, the upholstery is in good condition and worth preserving. Their simple and well-defined lines are the mark of a skilled craftsman who drew inspiration from the best masters of the 18th century. They are in good overall condition; we are selling them as we acquired them, without any alterations by our craftsmen, which allows us to offer them at a very reasonable price.
