"Loves Porcelain, Eighteenth Century England."
Topics English porcelain representing love holding in their hands the flower baskets (Allegory of Spring). They rest on a terrace, glazed green imitation grass, and are supported on a flowering bush. Almost naked, they wear that a little pink draped over the hips and wearing in her hair a garland of leaves and flowers. To bring the production of the Manufacture of Bow (England) from which these statuettes are certainly original, it was founded in 1744 following the discovery (1730) in the colony of Virginia, Kaolin and a feldspathic rock fuse, it was closed in 1776. Some tiny little reportable accidents on leaves and flower petals. Time mid-eighteenth century. Dimensions: height 10 cm for one and 10.5 cm for the other.
