China, First Third Of The XXth Century, Important Lacquer Triptych Screen. flag

Object description :

"China, First Third Of The XXth Century, Important Lacquer Triptych Screen."
China, first third of the 20th century, large lacquer screen made up of a large main panel and two leaves on either side. The decor, of great finesse, features a lady of the court surrounded by six maids in the middle of a garden within the walls of a palace. A bird is perched on a sort of swing suspended from a gallows while a woman fans the Lady of the Court. The three panels are richly adorned with floral garlands around the perimeter. This same decoration is repeated on the lower parts to highlight the beauty of the animated scene. The back of the screen is decorated with golden plants and flowers on a black background. This screen, due to its configuration, can also be used as a screen to delimit a space, two parts of a room etc ... The whole is very elegant and in good condition except for slight normal wear and small whitish traces due to humidity, obviously not affecting aesthetics and much more visible in photographs than in reality. Dimensions: Width: 102 cm (25.5 cm + 51 cm + 25.5 cm). Height 91.5 cm. You can contact us on 0787869393 or 0953253741.
