China, 1950s, very pretty painting on silk depicting a butterfly evolving in a plant and floral environment. Creation of very good quality both in the virtuosity of the gesture and in the harmony of the colors. A poem is calligraphed on the left side. Two artist's stamps in red ink (cinnabar powder) are visible on the left and at the top. Dimensions:Height 48 cm. Width 30.5 cm (62.5 cm x 42.8 cm with the Marie-Louise). Good condition except for slight normal wear and tear. No tears or dirt.
