China, 19th century, a large and superb bronze incense burner on a tripod base with chimera heads. The lid handle is shaped like a Fo dog. The handles are openwork and stylized in the spirit of archaic bronzes. This motif is also found on the frieze of the body. The piece as a whole is very harmonious and of exceptionally fine craftsmanship.
Dimensions: Height 47 (cm).
