China, 18th Century, Large Bronze Fibula With Dragon Decor.
China, Qing dynasty, Second half of the 18th century, superb fibula (belt attachment) in partially crusted bronze, decorated at the top with a dragon's head coiled on its main part. On the back, a circular button served as an attachment. This very pretty sculpted piece was made in the spirit of the Warring States period (481-221 BC). Very precise work giving it a remarkable aesthetic. Good condition.
