Miniature : Bas-relief Leather
Of a technique that I did not know, this bas-relief representing a prelate of the time, it seems to me, Louis XIII, is made by a fine repousse of a leather sheet, deeply chiseled and an incredible expressiveness. Close to the terracotta bas-reliefs of Jean-Baptiste Nini whose old leather with almost the color and appearance.
