Toffoli : "the Stone Cuters" (on Japan Paper)
Louis Toffoli (1907-1999), prolific artist and touch to everything has left us as well paintings and tapestries as innumerable lithographs much appreciated by fans who loved this style recognizable among all. Here we have a huge color lithograph about stonemasons. An impressive format, 66 X 47 cm line, 75 X 55 the sheet! Drawn from imperial Japan with large fibers, it is signed and numbered in pencil at the bottom. It was previously framed and we see the trace of the master key.
