Important pendulum terminal shaped bronze finely chiseled and gilded period 1st Empire early nineteenth signed on the dial 'Victor Cacheux watchmaker in Paris'. A bas-relief depicting an allegorical scene flanked by Corinthian columns, the upper part is embellished with a large clock movement inscribed in a coil of acanthus leaves, resting on cornucopias from which Floral patterns forming the dial punctuated by an alternation of attributes and Roman numerals. Wire movement to check (missing the key). Good condition, beautiful original gilding. Dimensions: 52 cm high X 25 cm wide x 14 cm deep.
