Antoine Blanchard Born on November 15, 1910 in Paris, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, then at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and won a competition for the Prix de Rome in 1935. Known for his picturesque descriptions of Parisian streets, his style is characterized by small brushstrokes and bright colors, giving his canvases shimmering tones, his works are characterized by vibrant colors, short and expressive brushstrokes, and representations with sparkling lights. Antoine Blanchard began collecting images of Belle Époque Paris, devoting his career to painting the monuments of the dazzling French capital, with vivid renderings of the city's important districts and monuments, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Moulin Rouge, the Porte Saint-Denis, and the Grands Boulevards.
