Rare large 18th-century solid silver basin featuring a fillet-edged design and an interlaced frieze around the rim. Engraved with "M.L." on the rim. Hallmarks for PARIS 1774–80, Guild hallmark for PARIS 1776 (crowned “N”). Rare basin in generally good condition, with a tiny chip in the fillet (near the monogram—see photo) and well hallmarked; minor surface scratches from use. For the discerning collector....
