Aikuchi, Kaiken, Bonji Tanto Dagger
Artist: Fujiwara Kunimichi
Kaiken (a blade intended for a woman) mounted as an Aikuchi (a dagger without a tsuba), almost certainly signed by Dewa—now known as Fujiwara Kunimichi.
The last kanji for “michi” is missing because the tang was shortened. Beautiful, straight temper line extending all the way to the boshi. Attractive koshirae.
