A complete and perfectly matching set belonging to an Officer of the Order of Merit of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem (OMLJ), dating from the 1970s/1980s. In very good overall condition. The set includes:

A white double-breasted uniform jacket made of heavy canvas with excellent drape.
A ceremonial cape made of black canvas, with a double collar and lapels of green velvet edged in gold.
Black uniform trousers.
These three garments were custom-made by the prestigious Parisian master tailor Mr. SAADETIAN (original label present in the jacket). Work of the very highest quality.

The original insignia and decorations include:

The Officer of Merit insignia (pendant medal): an enameled green cross with four golden swords and the motto “Pour le Mérite.” Original green and purple ribbon with its Officer’s rosette. Impeccable enamel and gilding.
The radiating breast plate of Commander/Knight of Merit in shiny gilded metal and green enamel (Pour le Mérite). Complete and functional rear attachment.
The original black leather and fabric sash, featuring a gilded openwork circular buckle centered with a black Maltese cross.
The original domed, gilded uniform buttons, also stamped with the cross.
