18th Century Iron Rest.
18th century wrought iron and brass tripod iron rest. Openwork decoration for the upper part, forming a rosette with a stylized fleur-de-lis on the front, the handle is made of turned wood. Good general condition, with traces of use. I report a small crack in the brass (visible photo No. 5). Length 31 cm, width 17.4 cm, height 12.5 cm. Use: Placed in the hearth of the fireplace on the hot embers, in order to keep the iron hot.
