Mahogany Display Cabinet – Empire Style – Late 19th Century

An elegant Empire-style display cabinet, featuring a beautiful design with freestanding columns and carved swan motifs.

The upper part of the front opens via a drawer adorned with a gilded brass pull.

The lower section features a glass door—currently missing its glass—revealing a storage space fitted with a shelf.

The piece is framed by two cylindrical columns resting on rounded bases, embellished with brass rings.

These columns are topped by remarkable swans carved from wood, lending the piece a great deal of character.

The wood displays beautiful warm tones and a particularly decorative grain, accentuated by an antique patina.

This small piece can be used as a display cabinet, an accent piece, or a small collector’s item.
