Statue Of An Arab Horseman With A Flag By Jean-baptiste Belloc
A bronze sculpture with a golden-brown patina depicting an Arab horseman on horseback, brandishing a banner. The horse, captured in full motion, lends the piece a particularly dynamic and expressive composition.
The work stands out for its rich detail, particularly in the rendering of the rider’s clothing, the horse, and the flag, reflecting the care taken in the sculpture’s execution.
The sculpture is signed Jean-Baptiste Belloc (1863–1919) and bears the foundry mark “Jollet & Cie à Paris”. It rests on a molded wooden base.
