A very beautiful Lyon chest of drawers in solid walnut, dating from the 18th century, in the Louis XV style.
This elegant regional linen chest opens with a large door featuring two molded panels, the upper panel of which displays a beautiful scrollwork design characteristic of the Louis XV style.
The upper section is adorned with a magnificent crossbar richly carved with foliage and floral motifs, accented at its center by a large shell carved in relief.
It is topped by a beautiful, molded, overhanging cornice.
The rounded legs and sides with molded panels highlight the quality of craftsmanship in this Lyon-style chest of drawers.
The lower section features a lovely scalloped crossbar resting on slightly arched legs.
The interior is fitted with two shelves and a rod for hanging clothes, providing practical and functional storage space.
