Small, Oval, Hand-painted Porcelain Box With A Gold-plated Brass Frame
A charming oval porcelain box with a pale lilac base, adorned on the lid with a hand-painted floral bouquet: purple roses, yellow ranunculus, blue and yellow pansies, and small orange flowers, accented with delicate gold motifs.
The rim is decorated with golden scrollwork and small flowers in the 18th-century style. The gilded brass frame, edged with a beaded border, closes with a daisy-shaped hinged clasp. The interior is glazed in a greenish-white color, and the inside of the lid features a small bouquet of hand-painted violets.
