19th-century Athenian-style Incense Burner In White Marble And Gilded Bronze
Pair of Athenian-style cassolettes, serving as incense burners, made of marble and gilded bronze. This decorative set in the Neoclassical style features a body of veined white marble resting on a chiseled and gilded bronze tripod. The sides are adorned with ram motifs and end in claw feet. The lid is removable, topped with a seed-shaped fretel, and gives way to an openwork collar. The triangular base is also made of marble and bronze, resting on three small, tapered, and guilloché-decorated feet.
These works of art, crafted with great finesse, will add a touch of elegance to any interior.
