A clock made of pinkish natural stone, richly carved with decorative motifs inspired by the Louis XVI style: volutes, acanthus leaves, and a frieze along the lower section. The clock is topped by a decorative sphere resting on a base.
The back is signed “SBERNA PIERRE,” a signature likely attributed to the artisan who carved the stone.
Movement signed Bayard, Art Deco period, circa 1930.
