Art Deco Desk Set Made Of Chrome-plated Metal And Bakelite – Circa 1930

Art Deco-style desk set consisting of three matching pieces, combining polished chrome metal with black Bakelite elements. Geometric and architectural design typical of the 1930s.

The set includes:

A cantilever desk clock: A mechanical clock suspended from four square-section supports. Rectangular bases and top shelf made of black Bakelite. Dials with Arabic numerals protected by a domed glass cover.Supplied with its original winding key. The word “DEPOSÉ” is inscribed beneath the base along with the serial number.

An inkwell/pen holder: Rectangular chrome-plated metal base edged with moldings. Two holders for pens or fountain pens made of black, notched Bakelite. Central section featuring rectangular compartments and two removable black Bakelite cups.

A letter holder / photo frame: An angled glass plate mounted on a metal base. Held in place by two decorative end pieces (a chrome sphere on one side, a cylinder on the other).
