Two Large Pairs Of Art Deco Bronze Door Pulls With Movable Rings, Circa 1930
Each handle consists of a long rectangular bronze plate, characterized by its simple geometric design, to which a solid grip ring is attached via a cylindrical tenon. The clean lines and the presence of the movable rings give the design a very architectural look, reminiscent of the grand doors found in villas, mansions, movie theaters, and ocean liners of that era.
Price for a pair: 160 €
Please note that one pair has mounting holes, while the other does not.
On the reverse side, the plates bear traces of their original mounting: slotted-head screws and mounting pins, with beautiful natural patina (shades of rose-colored copper and verdigris), evidence of past use.
These handles can be reused as door, cabinet, or furniture pulls, or simply displayed as decorative collector’s items.
The gilded Art Deco bas-relief featuring a dancer, visible in the photos, serves as a display stand and is not included in the sale. (To be confirmed on your end)
