Large 19th-century Parisian Porcelain Lamp
An elegant antique table lamp featuring a baluster-shaped base made of Paris porcelain, delicately hand-painted with a rich floral design (pink and white flowers and foliage) on a light celadon background, accented with rims in powder pink and ivory tones.
The lamp rests on a square, molded base in gilded bronze, chased with a laurel wreath, and finished with a wooden plinth on the underside.
The upper section features a brass stem supporting a tulip-shaped shade made of molded frosted glass edged with gilded motifs, as well as a double socket for two light bulbs.
The base dates from the 19th century; the electrical system is modern and in working order.
