A two-tone brass goblet on a pedestal created by designer and teacher Luc Lanel for the prestigious silverware house Christofle during the Art Deco period (circa 1925–1935).

Luc Lanel, the iconic artistic director of Christofle (notably famous for designing the tableware for the ocean liner Normandie), has created here a decorative piece with modernist lines
Crafted from hammered and patinated red/pink copper, enhanced with engraved motifs and nickel silver inlays. The pedestal is made of dark silver-plated metal.

Decoration: * The bowl is adorned with a large central rosette featuring geometric motifs of stylized volutes and arabesques.

The flared rim features a wide scalloped border with fluted and striated relief, characteristic of Lanel’s Art Deco creations.

Signature: Stamped with the Christofle hallmark beneath the bowl and beneath the base.
