Lip Ericsson — Art Deco Desk Clock And Lamp, Circa 1935
Rare Art Deco-era (circa 1935) chrome-plated metal pendant clock-lamp from France. Architectural structure featuring cylindrical columns and a horizontal crossbar housing a tubular light bulb, with a rectangular chrome base. Square dial with a silvered background, black applied Arabic numerals, stylized skeleton hands, and a small seconds sub-dial at 12 o’clock (signed by the Lip-Ericsson movement). Signed “LIP ERICSSON” on the dial. Beveled glass protecting the dial.
On the back: electric movement plate engraved “AC CURRENT - 110-150 VOLTS - 50 PERIODS,” ivory-colored setting button on the front
In very good condition; movement operates on 110 volts, untested; the lamp works.
