Pair Of Louis XV-era Cabriolet Armchairs – 18th-century Parisian Craftsmanship

An elegant and charming pair of armchairs with cabriolet backs, made ofnatural wood that is molded and delicately carved, from the Louis XV period (18thcentury), Parisian craftsmanship.
These chairs feature the sinuous and harmonious lines characteristicof the Parisian Rocaille style.
The top of the backrest and the front crossbar of the seat are adornedwith carved floral and foliage motifs.
They rest on four curved legs that end discreetly in asmall scroll.
The wooden frame is sound, very stable, and in good overallcondition.

Condition of the upholstery:They are upholstered in a floral damask-style fabric and featureupholstery tufting.
The fabric shows signs of use, withgeneral wear and tear as well as a few visible stains (particularly onthe seats and backs).
Although they could be placed as is in a charming interior,reupholstering will restore them to their original splendor.
