Travel Kit By Théodore Année, Paris
A rare Parisian travel and toiletries set from the mid-19th century, marked “Th. Année, 18 rue Chapon, Paris,” from a renowned firm specializing in the manufacture of luxury sets and cases.
The veneered wooden case is accented with brass trim and fittings and still has its key. The interior, lined with purple velvet and silk, contains several cut-glass bottles and boxes with engraved and monogrammed silver lids, as well as a substantial set of toiletries and manicure accessories with handles made of antique white material.
A French hallmark is visible on the silver settings.
