Empire-era Potpourri Vase Double As A Candleholder.
A large, reversible potpourri bowl that doubles as a candleholder. It consists of a lidded vase on a pedestal resting on a cylindrical shaft with a latticework design and a square base. The body of the vase is adorned with a bas-relief depicting lyres, Eros, and Bacchus. The reversible lid features a re-engraved design of stylized palmettes and a pinecone handle.
