"eau De Vie" Bottle By Kéraluc Quimper, Pierre Toulhoat, 1950s
A splendid “Eau de Vie” bottle made of glazed faience from the Kéraluc factory in Quimper, designed by Pierre Toulhoat (1923–2014).
With its quirky shape, the bottle features a hand-painted design in shades of blue on a white background, composed of stylized plant motifs and geometric friezes. The stopper matches the design.
The words “EAU DE VIE” appear in a cartouche on either side.
The underside bears the stamp “Toul Hoat Keraluc Quimper.”
A fine example of Pierre Toulhoat’s work for Kéraluc, characteristic of the company’s production in the 1950s.
